The Difference We Made Together
In 2025, our walkers, sponsors and supporters raised just over $10,300 for Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR).
Every dollar went directly towards SCAR’s work supporting animals and the people who love them from rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming pets to removing barriers to essential pet care during life’s most difficult moments. This support helps keep pets safe, cared for and at home with their families whenever possible.

Distributed to hungry community pets whose families are experiencing hardship. This vital assistance keeps families together during life’s toughest moments.
100 Emergency Vet Consults
offered in SCAR’s Community Animal Hospital for pet owners in need. Because everyone deserves the peace of mind that they can care for their pets when they become injured or unwell.
50 Pets Desexed for Free
at SCAR’s Community Animal Hospital, helping pet owners stay together with their beloved pets during tough times.
200 FREE Nights of Emergency Boarding
provided for pets whose families are experiencing homelessness or escaping family and domestic violence. This prevents people from having to choose between their own well-being and their pets’.
