The PetWell + Habitat Walk for PetWellness brings pets and their people together for a morning that celebrates better health, responsible care and the special place pets hold in our lives.

Proudly organised by PetWell and Habitat Pets, 2027 will be the fourth Walk for PetWellness. Following the incredible impact of our 2025 event, which we supported Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR), we’re delighted to support them once again.

Funds raised will help SCAR care for animals in need and continue programs supporting pet owners experiencing financial hardship or escaping domestic violence.

Join us on Sunday, 2 May 2027 at 10am in Docklands, Melbourne, and walk with a community that believes every pet deserves to be safe, healthy and loved.

Every dollar from registration sales goes directly to Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR), helping them continue their life-changing work.

SCAR rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned animals, but their support goes even further. Through vital community programs, they help people experiencing financial hardship care for their pets and provide safe foster care for animals whose owners are escaping domestic violence.

Without ongoing government funding, SCAR relies on the generosity of the community. By joining the walk, you’re helping protect the bond between pets and their people when they need it most.
